Adapt.
Life often takes a path that differs from our preferred route. The vast possibilities of Creation are more than we can stage manage.
We may try to get our local events back onto our desired track. It may even be possible, but if it is, it may require outsized effort.
However, sometimes our best attempts aren’t enough to force things to go as we wish. Or we may uncover an unexpected downside to proceeding as planned.
When we can’t get the result we hoped for, or at least not without massive effort or unforseen side effects, we may realize we’d be wise to try something else. We adapt.
We may do so gracefully or with some resistance. The choice is ours. The more readily we shift willingly, the easier it will be to adapt.
Today’s message comes to me from my cat Helios. He has recently learned to curl up and snuggle. He also has an uncanny knack for doing so just as I decide to get up and move.
I usually type this blog on my laptop. Today I realized that although posting on my phone would be a slower process, it would allow me to accept the snuggle and accomplish my goal.
